Cisco Media Convergence Server 7815-1000 (MCS 7815-1000) is designed to address the needs of locations requiring 200 IP phones or less. The MCS 7815-1000 can be configured to provide N+1 redundancy for a location through the installation of a second MCS 7815-1000 acting as a hot-standby server.
Cisco Media Convergence Server 7825-1133 (MCS-7825-1133) is a powerful platform for Cisco AVVID. At only one rack unit (1U) high the MCS-7825-1133 is the most space-efficient member of the MCS-7800 Series Server Family.
Cisco Media Convergence Server 7835-1266 (MCS-7835-1266) is a high-availability server platform for Cisco AVVID. The MCS-7835-1266 delivers the high performance and availability demanded by today's enterprise networks. At only 2U high, the MCS-7835-1266 packs tremendous power in a low-profile chassis that minimizes rack space.
Every Cisco MCS-7800 series server includes custom backup and restore functionality that is configured when you run the automatic installation software. You specify a file location of another server on your IP network, and the MCS-7800 does the rest. All relevant data files are stored nightly at 2:00 a.m. (or another time you choose) on another networked file server. In case of a failure, you can run the restore routine, specify the backup file location, and be back online quickly.
The MCS-7815-1000 is designed to run Cisco CallManager. The MCS-7825-1133 and MCS-7835-1266 run a variety of Cisco AVVID applications, such as Cisco CallManager, Cisco Conference Connection, Cisco Emergency Responder and the Cisco IP Interactive Voice Response (IP IVR) solution.
