Carrier Services Account Executive

ROLE SUMMARY

Total Communications is looking to hire an Account Executive responsible for winning new business and driving revenue growth in our Carrier Services division. The AE builds their funnel by setting appointments and meeting with clients to advise them on telecom and data network carrier options that best meet their needs.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prospect, cold call and meet with clients to sell Total Communications’ key carrier service solutions from our strategic partners such as Comcast, Windstream, Ring Central, Frontier, Cox, AT&T, and 8×8.
  • Consistently develop and maintain a pipeline of leads and qualified prospects that yield new revenue and logo production levels towards monthly quota goals.
  • Effectively communicate and demonstrate the features and values of our offerings.
  • Close the deal and drive the account management process by supervising all phases of sales cycle to ensure effective installation and integration of client-centric solutions.
  • Manage customer relationships, expectations and concerns regarding products and services.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals and create additional revenue opportunities.

Computer Services Engineer

ROLE SUMMARY

The ideal candidate will be supporting existing customers’ infrastructure, implementing new solutions, have responsibility for a portion of sales engineering, and participate in an on-call rotation.

Specifically, this position is responsible for designing, implementing, and providing ongoing support of various elements of Total Communications customers’ IT infrastructure, including but not limited to: Servers/Hosts; Storage Area Networks; Hypervisors; Microsoft/Linux Operating Systems; Client Computers; Network Security elements; Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity applications; Microsoft Exchange/Office 365; Ethernet Switching; Wireless Networking; Active Directory; Domain Name Services; Patch Management; and various.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide backup and recovery support for Total Communications’ customers
  • Provide core infrastructure implementation and support
  • Provide Exchange/Office365 support
  • Provide misc. IT design, implementation, and support.

Serving as a trusted advisor, the MAE owns their territory and is responsible for the acquisition of new clients, as well as the management and growth of their book of business. Focusing on a set of strategic account targets with well-defined go-to-market sales plays, you will have direct access to senior leadership and a team of highly competent consultants that can provide technical sales support.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Hunt for new business and consistently maintain a pipeline of leads that yield new enterprise sales opportunities with prospects who would benefit from services and products offered by Total Communications.

Senior Engineer - Cisco

ROLE SUMMARY:

Total Communications is currently looking for a Senior Cisco Engineer to help build out our growing Cisco practice. The Cisco Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and follow-up support of projects, as well as opportunities to work on enterprise network infrastructure, security, collaboration, wireless and data center projects. This is a hybrid remote position.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Implementation of Cisco UC and Enterprise Network solutions for a wide range of clients
    Cisco Collaboration and Enterprise Network upgrades and changes both on-site and remote
  • Utilize highly developed consultative skills to ensure a positive Professional Services experience for our clients delivered on-time and under budget
  • Provide technical escalations for peers and junior technicians
  • Provide admin training to clients on the operation and maintenance of the implemented system.
  • Work remotely with on-site technicians or clients to perform physical tasks
  • Manage tickets assigned to the team queue to deliver billable consulting activities directly to clients
  • Create project deliverables including “as built” documents, design summaries, migration plans, and Visio diagrams as appropriate
  • Participate in 24×7 on-call duties on a rotating basis
  • Update job knowledge by studying technical tools, techniques, and equipment, as well as participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, etc.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Professional level of expertise in Cisco UC products
  • Experience in design and support of Cisco UC, as well as one or more of the following, Cisco Route/Switch products, Wireless, Security and/or Data Center

Senior Network Engineer (CCIE)

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Total Communications is currently looking for a Cisco Network Engineer to help build out our rapidly growing Cisco Gold Certified Partner practice. The Cisco Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and follow-up support of network infrastructure, collaboration projects, and Cisco Data Center. This is a hybrid remote position, so candidate must reside within driving distance of our East Hartford headquarters and able to travel to local client sites.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Implementation of multiple Cisco solutions for a wide range of clients
  • Cisco solutions upgrades and changes both on-site and remote
  • Cisco solution support, both pre and post implementation
  • Utilize highly developed consultative skills to ensure a positive Professional Services experience for our clients delivered on-time and under budget
  • Provide technical escalations for peers and junior technicians
  • Provide admin training to clients on the operation and maintenance of the implemented system
